About Us
Hi there! We are Team Prison Break, developers of the game Prison Break, a Singleplayer Free-To-Play puzzle platformer game. We met through our COMP1501 - Intro to Computer Game Design Class, after doing a few assignments in smaller teams together at the beginning of the class, we decided to form a team for our final project. And after 5 very short weeks we came up with, designed and programmed Prison Break. Thank you for taking interest in our game and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!
Our Team
Aranan Thayaparan
Game Developer
My name is Aranan Thayaparan and I got into game development almost by accident because I was originally going to major in computer engineering, but after taking programming classes in 11th grade, making a few games and tinkering with game engines since then I discovered how fun it is to make games and how the process can be both incredibly time consuming and difficult, but just as rewarding if not more once the project is playable.
Elliot Legresley
Game Developer
Artist
Hi, I'm Elliot and I just fell into game design. I was introduced to programming at a young age, and my enjoyment of coding melded together with my enjoyment of games, leading to me experimenting with creating mods. I decided to commit to game design because I found that analyzing already existing games was very interesting, and wanting to pursue that, combined with my already existing interest in programming, pushed me over the last remaining hurdle into this field.

Hi, my name's Mélanie and I'm a First Year Computer Science student at Carleton University. Ever since I was little, I always knew I wanted to go into Computer Science and now my dream is one step closer to being a reality. Throughout the project I got to learn much more about Game Design and all the different parts involved in the process. It was an amazing experience but I did learn one thing in the process, it's harder than it appears.
